What is AWGE?
AWGE (pronounced “Awgey”) is a dietary supplement made especially for the U.S. market. AWGE contains the original Avemar Pulvis, which is a mixture of natural compounds created from an extract made from the fermentation of wheat germ using baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and a standardized, patented process. AWGY granulate has been extensively studied for its immuno-modulating and anti-cancer effects. AWGE, or sometimes referred to by the code name "MSC", has been the subject of many published scientific reports related to in vitro, in vivo and human research, including more than 30 peer-reviewed publications showing antitmetastatic and immuno-modulating effects.
AWGE is a natural, plant origin substance in a granular form (called "Avemar Pulvis"), which must be dissolved in water before being used. Due to its complex nature, AWGE contains numerous additional molecules besides its main ingredient. While these compounds are responsible for the peculiar taste of the product, their removal would compromise the product's overall effectiveness.
AWGE appears in over 20 countries world wide, including European countries, the U.K and Japan. In many of the 20 countries, AWGE is known as "Avemar", and is classified as a "Dietary Food for Special Medical Purposes or for Cancer Patients". It is also available in several countries as a dietary supplement.
Is AWGE new to the U.S?
Our Avemar has been distributed in the U.S since 2005, under the name "Avé". The original Avemar Pulvis is no longer available in the USA under the name "Avé", and is only available under the name AWGE. Currently, AWGE is the only product in the USA that contains the original Avemar pulvis. In 2006, under its former brand name Avé, AWGE earned a "NutrAward" for the "Best New Product of the Year". This award was presented at the annual Natural Products Expo West/SupplyExpo tradeshow in Anaheim California, which is the largest gathering of the natural, organic and healthy products industry.
